Jeff and Glenda

Jeff Justus was born and raised in Stone and Taney Counties. He is 56 years old and was born right here in St. Johns Hospital. His dad Jack started L & J plumbing supply as a small hardware store back in 1951. It has now grown to be one of the premier businesses in the area (employing as many as 30 Stone & Taney residents) with locations in both Stone and Taney counties. Doing business in both counties Jeff has a definite, knowledge and feeling for the economic climate, good and bad, in both counties which no other candidate can lay claim to. Jeff has run the business since 1987 and has grown it substantially contributing to the tax coffers of both counties. Jeff graduated from Austin College in 1976 where he majored in Business Administration. Jeff has been married to Glenda (Barton - Watson) for 31 years and has three children Rebecca (who is married to Jim Nivens a (local fireman), Shannon and Jacob. He has been active in the community for over 40 years starting when he was 15 with the Boy Scouts. All of Jeff’s community activities have been on a volunteer non paid basis!! Jeff has turned his business over to Bob Kerns, Larry Cook and his family so he can spend all his time in public service and not be a “part timer” as so many politicians are.
